Where the creatures, experiments, and questionable decisions begin.

This is my Studio Table — the place where materials misbehave, ideas show up uninvited, and half‑formed creatures wander around until they decide what they want to be. Here you’ll find carved shoes, dyed fabrics, stitched experiments, collaborative side quests, and projects that may or may not eventually become “real art.”

Nothing here is finished. Everything is alive. Some of it is weird on purpose.

Active Projects

The Seamstress & The Sea

A collaborative ocean‑themed skirt project with my mother‑in‑law, the seamstress. I’m learning fabric dyeing and painting for the first time, and the dye has opinions. This project lives somewhere between slow fashion, textile art, and mild chaos.

Galaxy Bike Shoes

A custom paint job for a friend’s cycling shoes. A tiny mixed‑media adventure that proved shoes make surprisingly good canvases (and surprisingly dramatic ones).

Nautibus

Nautibus was created for the 2nd Annual Art in Nature Walk, a collaboration between the Lee Arts Foundation, Fall City Arts, and North Bend Arts & Industry. This Cedar Carving that taught me more about carving, staining, metal inlay, and woodburning than I expected, and probably more than cedar wanted me to know. My blood, sweat, and tears are quite literally in this piece now; cedar is a beautiful wood, but it has opinions, and it made sure I heard all of them.

It’s currently installed along the Snoqualmie Valley Trail in the Fall City area and available for auction. Nautibus feels right at home out there — a small guardian watching over the path, carrying the story of what happens when you let curiosity, nature, and a slightly chaotic learning curve collide.
