Artist’s Note

Hand of Bounty was my first published artwork — the piece that opened the door and showed me my Bone Series belonged out in the world. I struggled with this one, especially the details. The berries, the vines, the skeletal hand… everything felt like it needed to be perfect, and that made the process frustrating at times. But the struggle became part of its story. It’s a quiet forest moment: a skeleton hand gently holding blackberries in warm afternoon sunlight, where nature and anatomy meet in a soft, unexpected harmony.
