Artist’s Note

Sea Foot was my first accepted artwork into an exhibition — the first time I ever tried submitting, and the first time someone said yes. It’s part of the Bone Series, but it carries a playful ocean spirit inspired by my kids. I loved exploring how anatomy could merge with sea life, letting bright colors, drifting kelp, and underwater movement wrap around the skeletal foot. It’s a piece about curiosity, family inspiration, and the joy of discovering new worlds inside familiar forms.
