Artist’s Note

Wunderland is a skull that holds a world — my world. I was proud of this one, especially the shading; it was the first time I felt like I was truly getting the Bone Series depth and softness right. Inside the skull is the place I want to be: a rainy, mossy trail near my home that I love hiking in winter. I love rain — clearly — and I wanted the interior landscape to feel like a private fantasy realm carved into bone.
